I’m pleased to offer you another excerpt from my eBook entitled:

Enough about the party.

“Is everything okay, Chris’? You’ve been awfully quiet all night, and more than a bit agitated. What’s going on? I wasn’t the only one who noticed, either.

Christa Delaney turned to her husband and hesitated before responding.

    “I’m sorry, John.

“I—I discovered some very, very disturbing information today about the Russians and what they’ve been representing to us. I’m not sure what the hell to do. I can’t sit on this discovery, that’s for sure, but … wow! Off the charts doesn’t begin to describe it.

    “That doesn’t sound good, hon’.

“It’s not, John. It’s so bizarre that my first instinct is to doubt it completely. There’s either a lot more behind it which will explain it all—and that’s not even a little bit comforting—or….I simply cannot wrap my mind around this!

    “I’ll help if I can.

“I know … thanks. But this is way beyond your security clearances—if you had any! I’m feeling like this is legitimately beyond my security clearances!

“Dead serious. I just know I need to get this up to the big boys in a hurry.

    “White House big boys?

“Well, I thought it was pretty strange that your briefcase never left your sight … info is inside, I presume?

Christa nodded. “When we get home I need to spend some time in private. If it’s genuine, I’m making some calls tonight.

“Wow! Sounds like it’s going to be a long, tough night.

“Let’s hope that’s the worst outcome, John.”

Gregg Danko pulled his vehicle off to the side of a sparsely-traveled road leading to the Delaney residence. He parked at the opposite end of a narrow bridge the couple would cross en route. He turned to look at his still-frightened passenger.

“You are one lucky motherfucker, Aleksandr. That bitch hasn’t told anyone yet.

“That is good news, Mr. Danko.

“But she knows, Aleksandr. That is not good news.
