An observation worth noting … and pondering, from Napoleon Hill ✼ :
First comes thought;
then organization of that thought, into ideas and plans;
then transformation of those plans into reality.
The beginning, as you will observe, is in your imagination.
The process of incubating an idea or purpose or objective is unique to each undertaking. Some accomplishments are complete after a few steps and minor efforts, but most of our own achievements—the ones which distinguish us from all others—are each the end result of a lengthier and more arduous journey. Not necessarily painful so much as effortful and challenging.
Successes tend to mean more and carry enduring satisfactions when we can honestly say they’ve been duly earned by our best efforts. All kinds of opportunities and quirks and coincidences and assistance are part of our achievements. The mix is different for every objective.
But nothing happens without first the dream. That it may be one-of-a-kind will in the end be irrelevant is passion and commitment and effort and an unfailing belief accompany you along the way—especially in those inevitable moments when you feel as though there is nothing left in the tank.
But if the inspiration is strong and meaningful enough and you allow yourself to engage the wonders of your imagination as fully as you can, eventually Life Will Answer
